Turtle Bay Golf Glows for the Kahuku & Waialua High School Golf Teams
On March 7, 2025, Turtle Bay Golf brought a whole new meaning to Friday night lights with its Aloha Friday Glow Golf event—a glowing success in more ways than one.
This vibrant evening on the North Shore was more than just a good time. It was a fundraiser with heart, benefiting the 20 young athletes of the Kahuku High School and Waialua High School golf teams. The Breaks Putting Course transformed into a unique glow-in-the-dark golf event that helped raise $1,265 to assist with essential costs like equipment and tournament fees.
“Playing under the lights with our community cheering us on was something I’ll never forget,” said one of the young players. “Mahalo to Turtle Bay Golf and the Flannagan ʻOhana for helping us chase our goals, on and off the course.”
With 160 attendees in total, families and friends gathered under the stars for a fun-filled night of nine-hole glow golf, raffles, delicious food, drinks, music and plenty of aloha spirit. One of the night’s highlights was the generous donation of golf bags from the Flannagan ʻOhana—an incredible gesture that will directly impact the student golfers’ experience.
Turtle Bay Golf has committed to making each Glow Golf event count by donating proceeds to a chosen nonprofit. The next Aloha Friday Glow Golf is set for May 16 in support of Ho’okahi Athletics (Volleyball). Stay tuned for more details.
