“Love You Man” Golf Tournament

August 6, 2026

Earlier this year, Turtle Bay Golf and Areté Collective donated the use of the Arnold Palmer Golf Course for the Ron McBride Foundation’s first-ever “I Love You, Man” Golf Tournament in Hawaiʻi. The event brought players and community members together to support the Kahuku Medical Center and ensure it has the resources it needs to serve the people who depend on it most.

The tournament raised $64,000, with $32,000 going directly to Kahuku Medical Center’s emergency room expansion and $32,000 benefiting the Ron McBride Foundation.

Kahuku Medical Center is the only hospital serving the North Shore and Koʻolauloa regions, an area stretching more than 30 miles in either direction. The facility treats approximately 6,500 emergency patients every year, and its ability to deliver the care the North Shore needs depends on continued investment in its infrastructure.

The funds raised at the tournament, together with a previous donation from Areté’s philanthropic arm, the Collective Good Foundation, total more than $100,000 toward renovations at Kahuku Medical Center’s emergency room. These key upgrades are designed to improve efficiency, expand access and better equip the facility to handle surges in demand.
